Medan, July 26, 2025 - Industrial Engineering Study Program at the Potential Utama University (UPU) successfully held an ISO 9001: 2015: 2015: 2015: 2015: 2015, and ISO 45001: 2018 System Management Integration Management Integration Training This activity took place in the Meeting Room of the 1st Floor of Building A Upu, followed by students of the final semester of Industrial Engineering Study Program.
The speakers in this training were Ahmadi Sapta Yudha, ST, an IRCA Lead Auditor AMM ISO 9001: 2015: 2015: 2015: 2015, and SMK3 ISO 45001: 2018. With his extensive experience in the field of integrated management system, he provides an in-depth understanding of the implementation, audit, and the benefits of applying these ISO standards in the industrial world.
The event which lasted for approximately 4 hours was attended by the Chairman of the Industrial Engineering Study Program, Marwan, S.Kom., M.T., along with a number of other lecturers. This training is not only a forum for the development of student competencies, but is also one of the requirements for supporting graduation for participants.
Enthusiastic can be seen from the activeness of students in a question and answer session, where many critical questions about the challenges of implementing ISOs in the industry, audit procedures, and tips to achieve certification. "This activity is very useful to prepare students to face the world of work, especially in the field of quality management, environmental and K3 management systems," Marwan said in his remarks.
It is hoped that through this training, UPU Industrial Engineering students can apply the knowledge gained in their final projects and professional careers going forward. Upu is committed to continuing to encourage improvement in the quality of graduates through similar activities that are relevant to industrial needs.
